Kamala writes about people in her family for example, her mother, father, and grandparents who were all superheroes in her opinion. These people were not superheroes because they possessed super powers but rather because they possessed traits like kindness (Mrs. Shelton-family friend), bravery (her father), reliability (her sister), and the willingness to fight for what is right (her grandparents). Vice President Harris then invites her readers (children like me) to look at our own lives- our families and friends- and find the people who are heroes to us.
