In fact, he is not very good at a lot of things which leads to him being called a loser by his classmates. Donald happily stumbles through school mostly without friends before becoming a hero in middle school.       The novel follows Donald from first grade to sixth grade and showcases him to be rather clumsy and awkward but oblivious to what others think of him. However, Rosy goes too far by trying to get Donald (her friend's older brother) to tell her his innermost feelings about her and ends up breaking their friendship. She also wrote a memoir for her friends using the pictures they had left behind from the workshop she held (which had gone terribly wrong). When they read it, they got mad at her for exaggerating their s...

Kamala writes about people in her family for example, her mother, father, and grandparents who were all superheroes in her opinion. These people were not superheroes because they possessed super powers but rather because they possessed traits like kindness (Mrs. Shelton-family friend), bravery (her father), reliability (her sister), and the willingness to fight for what is right (her grandparents). Vice President Harris then invites her readers (children like me) to look at our own lives- our families and friends- and find the people who are heroes to us. I really enjoyed the book and I agree that superheroes are everywhere. Some examples of superheroes in my life are my mom because she tak...
